About Me

I have been practicing massage therapy for over two decades, guiding clients to a healthier self by connecting them to their bodies' inner wisdom. While acquiring my BFA in dance at SUNY Purchase College, I began to both experience the benefits of massage therapy, and study somatics and bodywork. After graduating, I completed the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy program leading up to being licensed in Massachusetts and New York as well as becoming board certified. I began my bodywork practice in Northampton, Massachusettsimage in 1997, and by 1999 I began to study CranioSacral therapy through the Upledger Institute, and completed coursework to the advanced level. Each year that I have been in practice I have continued to train, to deepen my understanding of ancient and current bodywork techniques. My most recent training has been with the Ben Benjamin Institute of Advanced Studies, "Anatomy Trains" Structural Integration bodywork with Tom Myers, and Myofascial Release with John Barnes. At present, I am attending a Visceral Manipulation training through the Barral Institute. As I continue to learn my palpation skills have progressed, leading to more effective and efficient treatment sessions for my clients. I enjoy my bodywork practice and hope to continue to find ways of restoring the health of those who seek the benefits of my skill set.
